How do I enable JavaScript in my browser?

JavaScript is a scripting language that works with your browser to create interactive elements in web pages. The dynamic tools and online editing features of Yahoo! Site Solution and certain other tools depend on JavaScript to function properly.

Most browsers allow JavaScript by default, but if you're having trouble using Site Solution or another tool that uses JavaScript, you may simply need to change the JavaScript setting in your browser. (Don't worry — you don't have to download anything.)

To turn on JavaScript:

Firefox 2.0 (Windows)

1. In your browser's Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Content tab.
3. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
4. Click OK.

Firefox 2.0 (Mac)

1. In your browser's Firefox menu, click Preferences.
2. Click the Content tab.
3. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
4. Click OK.

Internet Explorer 6+ and 7.0 (Windows)

1. In your browser's Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click the Custom Level button.
4. Scroll down until you find the section called Scripting.
5. In the Scripting section, click the Enable button under Active Scripting.
6. Click OK, then OK again.
